The Company was incorporated in 1978 to oversee operations in onshore concession areas covering approximately 21,000 square kilometers including five of the most important mainland oilfields in the region. During the first quarter of 2006, the inauguration of the North East BAB has been started.
Directs and coordinates the preparation and maintenance of flexible and cost effective plans for optimal appraisal, development of work programs and expenditure forecasts for the Petroleum Division Business Plan, consistent with Shareholders’ guidelines on expenditure and production levels. Includes reviewing exploration, field development and other plans to ensure technical integrity, coordinating studies to support PDD teams and/or to meet specific shareholders’ requirements, developing improvement plans and promoting their acceptance and adoption. Ensures that plans are delivered on time and presents plans and reports to concerned teams, committees, shareholders and other interested authorities. Participates and coordinates the development and implementation of PDD policies, standards and procedures.
B.Sc. Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
12 - 15 years varied experience in Planning and Petroleum Engineering (including experience in technical computing and data management). Sound knowledge of economic evaluation, risk assessment and long range planning.
